Not satisfied with the 2.0-and 2.5-liter, Mazda CX-5 will equip 2014 models with greater capacity. This was revealed in an inter-dealer meeting in Chicago, United States.
SKYACTIV technology brings with it, will reportedly invest Mazda 4-cylinder engines like those of the Mazda6. This machine is able to reap the maximum power of 170 rpm and torque of 420 PS@4.500 Nm@2.000 rpm.
For comparison, the kitchen runway currently used by the CX-5 2.0 liter has power PS@6.000 155 rpm and torque 196 rpm Nm@4.000. While for transmission, the Mazda still rely on the automatic transmission 6 speed SKYACTIV Drive.
If the plan is realized, the CX-5 next year will have three engine options, including the type SKYACTIV-D diesel 2.2 liter. To model the ‘facelift’ this 2014, Mazda said to be preparing three variants, Sport, Touring and Grand Touring.
