Car manufacturer Ferrari has been known as a producer of a well respected sports car. And in the future, DNA Ferrari was expected to be ‘dispersed’ to various other brands. Reportedly, Ferrari will also supply their engines to other car brands such as Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Lancia.
Fiat automotive group that holds the Ferrari brand through CEO Sergio Marchionne said that they did not intend to make the Ferrari as a car manufacturer which produces cars in a larger scale than now.
But it was not meant to limit Ferrari to go into mainstreem products that have a larger volume.
To that end, also Ferrari reportedly develop and create two machines that will supply them for future cars Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Lancia though these models do not explain anything.
Two of these machines is not yet announced specifics, but sources in Italy as detikOto quotes from leftlanenews reported that the machine will enter the entry-level segment of the twin-turbocharged V6 and configuration. The machine is expected to have maximum power “only” 450 horsepower.
Meanwhile, a second machine would use a V8-powered larger, 500 horsepower, and both machines will be built in Italy.
The collaboration between Ferrari and his brothers in the group Fiat is expected to cost up to 50 million euro investment.
