In 1995, Honda Motor Co. (HMC) has been displaying a concept model which they call Sports Study Model (SSM) in the event the Tokyo Motor Show. Three years later, the Japanese car manufacturer that introduced the S2000 production models in conjunction with the celebration of 40 tiahun Honda, although lately has been discontinued.
Many rumors about the S2000 replacement, unfortunately there is nothing concrete. HMC then open up the opportunity for designers to create S2000 to 2020. Michael McGee, one of the so-sponsored by Honda designers to visualize their ideas, as shown, both still in the form of sketches and mokap (mock-up).
“My design is classic and sophisticated, which simultaneously using a simple surface,” explained McGee explains the scratching hand. He added again, though a simple surface, the innovative frame structure and function in balance.
The design was, admittedly inspired by Mcgee car remote control (RC). It looks at the design of the structure and emphasis on light weight. “Subject to the body color yellow can be exchanged according to the desire of consumers,” he said.
S2000 back to the past, which began production in 1999, for a decade had sold 112 000 units worldwide. Holding a two-door sedan 2.0 liter DOHC VTEC engine has a maximum power of 243PS.
