News about the introduction of a new cars generation from the world’s automotive brands that are currently competing to deliver environmentally friendly vehicles with a variety of existing technologies. And the rise of the concept car of the future of eco-friendly event that was introduced in various exhibitions in America seems to have emerged winner of the award for the best concept car in 2012.
2012 Best Concept Car of the Year Award in North America this fall on a sports car with hybrid technology from Germany, the BMW i8 Spyder. And this car managed to beat 34 other vehicles that also were on display in a prestigious exhibition in LA, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
Of the 34 car concept, there are 24 automotive journalists who participated in this assessment. Of all the cars that fall into that category, the characteristics of the judgment of the jury, the car must have a specific standard of passenger cabins and be able to reflect future cars with multi functions. “BMW i8 Spyder has an excellent design. Function of these cars also reflects the exciting automotive technology for the foreseeable future vehicles. With an environmentally friendly engine and a modern shape, this car may represent the future vehicles that are environmentally friendly,” said one of the jurors, Bill Schaffer.
Given BMW i8 Spyder concept is reinforced with hybrid engine technology, in which the electric engine capable of generating power at 129hp. Gasoline engine was using a 3 cylinder engine will be capable of generating power at 220hp.
